Hopes high for cap on well, but testing delayed

Are you telling me that while the new cap was being designed and built there was no one running calculations and doing mock tests so when they placed the cap the tests could begin? They are saying they are not closing of the oil leak because they are having to “review testing procedures”? WHAT?? It has to be a delay tactic because something is wrong. In the blurb under the headline on the CNN main page it says they have also shut down all work on both relief wells – What Is UP!!??

Military: U.S. soldier to be charged in leak of strike video

I know we don’t want to be leaking Top Secret Information on a regular basis but it’s still OK to have a conscience, right? I can see a discharge, but prison? This is a very disturbing video but why must they shoot people already, obviously, critically injured. I understand the threat but… just watch the video and make up your own mind.

[Updated at 11:46 a.m.] The U.S. military said Tuesday it is pressing criminal charges against Pfc. Bradley E. Manning, 22, for allegedly transferring classified data onto his personal computer and adding unauthorized software to a classified computer system.

Manning of Potomac, Maryland, is suspected of leaking a classified 2007 video of an Apache helicopter strike that killed 12 civilians in Baghdad, including two journalists from the Reuters wire service, the military said.
